ABOUT ELLATALES
1. What is EllaTales?
EllaTales is a digital library of beautifully illustrated children's stories designed to inspire imagination, strengthen positive values, and create meaningful family reading moments. Our collection includes free stories in English and Spanish, as well as personalized adventures created especially for each child. Every story is carefully reviewed to ensure it is age-appropriate, engaging, and enjoyable for young readers.
2. Are EllaTales stories really free?
Yes. Our growing library of children's stories can be accessed completely free after creating a free account. Every month we publish new stories in English and Spanish, giving families and educators fresh reading material throughout the year.
3. Who created EllaTales?
EllaTales is a project developed by 008 Digital Services SAS, a digital services company based in Medellín, Colombia. The project was created by María Martínez and Juan Giménez, two parents and digital professionals who wanted to combine education, technology, storytelling and illustration into a platform that helps families enjoy meaningful reading experiences together.
4. Who inspired EllaTales?
Our greatest inspiration is our daughter, Joaquina. Watching her grow reminded us how powerful stories can be in shaping imagination, empathy, curiosity and family connections. EllaTales was born from countless moments of reading together and the desire to make those experiences available to families everywhere.

5. What makes EllaTales stories different?
Our stories are designed to do much more than entertain. They encourage empathy, responsibility, perseverance, kindness, respect, creativity, courage, environmental awareness and emotional intelligence. Every story is carefully categorized by age so parents and educators can easily find the right reading experience.
6. How are EllaTales stories created?
Every story begins with original ideas developed by our creative team. We then use artificial intelligence responsibly to refine language, improve grammar, enhance consistency and support the creative process. Every final story is reviewed by human editors who evaluate educational value, readability and age appropriateness before publication.
7. How are the illustrations created?
The illustrations are created using advanced artificial intelligence tools guided by detailed artistic direction from our creative team. Every illustration is carefully reviewed and selected by human editors to ensure it matches the story, maintains visual consistency and offers a beautiful reading experience for children.
8. Who writes the stories?
Most of our stories are developed by talented women from Colombia and Venezuela, many of them mothers and primary providers for their families. Supporting female employment, entrepreneurship, innovation and social equity is an important part of EllaTales' mission. Every story helps create meaningful professional opportunities while inspiring children around the world.
9. What age groups are your stories designed for?
Our stories are organized into age groups so families can easily choose appropriate reading material. We currently offer stories for children from birth through ten years old, with content carefully reviewed according to reading level, vocabulary and emotional development.
PERSONALIZED STORIES
10. What is a personalized story?
A personalized story is a completely original adventure inspired by your child. We use the information you provide to create a unique story in which your child becomes the main character while learning valuable lessons through engaging storytelling and beautiful illustrations.
11. What information do you need?
We ask for information such as your child's name, age, personality, physical description, interests, favorite activities, favorite animals, favorite colors and any ideas you would like included. If you already have a story concept, we'll gladly incorporate it. Otherwise, our creative team will develop an original adventure for you.
12. Do you use children's photographs?
Never. Protecting children's privacy is one of our core principles. We do not request, accept or store photographs of children at any stage of the process. Every character is illustrated exclusively from the written description you provide.
13. Can personalized stories help with learning and behavior?
Many families use personalized stories to reinforce positive habits and values such as empathy, responsibility, perseverance, gratitude, inclusion, healthy routines, confidence and emotional awareness. While our stories are not therapeutic tools, they can become valuable educational resources that encourage meaningful conversations between children and adults.
14. How long does it take?
Personalized stories are typically delivered within 48 hours after we receive your completed questionnaire and payment confirmation.
15. In what formats will I receive my story?
Every personalized story includes both English and Spanish versions, delivered in vertical and horizontal PDF formats. They are optimized for smartphones, tablets and printable reading.
16. How much does a personalized story cost?
We currently offer three options:
• Starter Story — USD 6.99 (8 pages including cover)
• Classic Story — USD 8.99 (12 pages including cover)
• Premium Story — USD 12.99 (18 pages including cover)
Every option includes English and Spanish versions, vertical and horizontal layouts, printable PDFs and digital reading formats.

17. Can schools or organizations work with EllaTales?
Absolutely. We collaborate with schools, teachers, parent associations, libraries, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations and companies to develop customized story collections tailored to specific educational objectives, communities or social initiatives.
18. Can I request a completely custom project?
Yes. If your project goes beyond a single personalized story, we'd love to hear from you. We can create educational collections, branded stories, awareness campaigns, community reading initiatives and fully customized publishing projects.
